Update: Snow emergency reduced to Level 1

Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless declared a level 2 snow emergency until further notice.  A level 2 emergency means the roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roads.

Update:  7:30 pm March 3rd

Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless has reduced the snow emergency to a level one.  A level one snow emergency means many roads throughout the county may still be covered with snow and ice, and motorists should be cautious on the roadways.
