Jean Todd
Jean Ann Todd, 67, of Haverhill, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at her residence. The Los Angeles, Calif., native was born Sept. 12, 1946, a daughter of the late William Ross Todd and Hope Brown Todd. She was also preceded in death by her life partner, James Skaggs, who passed away Aug. 7, 2013.
Jean was a graduate of California State University in Dominguez Hills, where she received her bachelor’s degree. She retired in 2007 from Toyota, where she was a business executive for more than 30 years. She was very active in arts and crafts and enjoyed making pottery. “She was a loving, giving, caring aunt, sister, partner and friend, and she will be greatly missed.”
She is survived by a sister, Judy Todd, of Seal Beach, Calif.; two nieces, Kelly Todd Robinson, of Los Angeles, and Emily Rainey Link, of Woodland Hills, Calif.; a grand niece, Madeline Robinson; and two grand nephews, Ryan Robinson and Sam Robinson.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home. There will be a visitation Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
Sally Carter
Sally Jo Carter, 63, of Coal Grove, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, at St. Mary’s Medical Center-Ironton Campus. The Ironton native was born Feb. 11, 1951, a daughter to the late David L. and Lula Matney Carter.
Ms. Carter was a 1969 graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School and studied at Ringling College of Art and Design. She was a teacher for Collins Career Center/Joint Vocation Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Ironton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Wilma Kay Hankins Carter; and two nephews, Dwayne J. Carter and Ken Lee Carter.
She is survived by a brother, David Jeff (Sandra) Carter, of Panama City, Fla.; special aunt and uncle, Janice and James Sharp, of Coal Grove; a special friend, Owen Wenters, of Sword, Ireland; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 12 p.m. Monday at Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. Lenny Campbell officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 11:40 a.m. at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home on the day of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 304 S. Fifth St., Ironton, OH 45638.

Daniel Wikoff
Daniel James Wikoff, Jr., 67, of Kitts Hill, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at St. Mary’s Medical Center-Ironton Campus. The Ironton native was born Aug. 17, 1946, a son of the late Daniel James Wikoff and Ruth Iris Cannon Wikoff. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deborah Diane Tipton Wikoff.
Mr. Wikoff was a 1964 graduate of Ironton High School and was a National Guard veteran. He was a retired employee for AK Steel, where he worked in the rigger and maintenance shops for 34 years. He was a member of the Waterloo Masonic Lodge, loved to hunt and fish and drag racing. He also loved the Ironton Fighting Tigers and Ohio State University football. He was a devout Christian, a member of Mamre Baptist Church and a loving father.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Melissa “Missy” Dawn Wikoff, of Ironton; a son, Michael David Wikoff, of Kitts Hill; four grandchildren, Michael Jr., Lauren, Ajay and Jeb, all of Ironton; and a brother, Jeffrey Alan Wikoff, of Chesapeake.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with pastor Lenny Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Mamre Cemetery and visitation will be Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
