Renowned author and devout Catholic Dr. Marcellino D’Ambrosio will hold a series of lectures in Lawrence County beginning Sunday night.

D’Ambrosio is a regular guest on The Eternal Word Television Network as well as on Bill O’ Riley’s radio show. He will speak Sunday and Monday at 7 p.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church on Fifth and Quincy Streets. Those lectures are respectively titled “Why Be a Catholic?” and “A Deeper Look at Lent.”

On Tuesday D’Ambrosio will speak at the Knights of Columbus Hall. That lecture is titled “Getting More out of Mass” and is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The lecture at the KOC Hall is also accompanied by a dinner and a reservation is required to attend, although all are welcome.
