PEDRO — It was all about the bats.
The Huntington Lady Highlanders swung the bats well as they blanked the Rock Hill Redwomen 7-0 Tuesday.
Huntington had 10 hits while the Redwomen managed just three hits.
“They hit the ball pretty well and we didn’t hit well or play well defensively. That’s not a good combination,” said Rock Hill coach Sam Gue.
Brooke Hanshaw was 1-for-3 with a double to lead Rock Hill. Hannah Roach and Lindy Simpson were 1-2.
Kindert got the pitching win and also wnet 3-4 with a home run, two doubles and four runs batted in.
