Christi Richardson

Christi Brown Richardson, 42, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014. The Ironton native was born May 29, 1971, the daughter of Jerry and Diane L. Brown Sunseri, of Ironton.

Christi was a graduate of Ironton High School and a student at University of Phoenix. She was a member of Christ Temple in Huntington, W.Va., and attended the Greater Faith Church in Ironton.

She was preceded in death by grandfather, James L. Jackson; grandfather, Eugene Sunseri; great-grandparents, Ike and Lucy Abrams; and two uncles, Richard “Dick” Brown, and James Michael Brown.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Jacob Brown, of Ironton; two brothers, her twin, Chris Brown, of Ironton, and John E. Smith, of Flatwoods, Ky.; grandmother, Ethel Jackson, of Ironton; two uncles and six aunts, Eugene and Alice Brown, of Ironton, Jennifer B. Wilson, of Gulfport, Fla., Julie Brown, Sue Brown and Patti McMaster, all of Ironton, and James and Veronica Jackson, of Galion; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and her dog, Rocko.

Robert Norris

Robert Lee Norris, 74, of South Point, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at home. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Norris. Arrangements are pending at Phillips Funeral Home.

John Cyrus

John Thomas Cyrus, 75, of Proctorville, died Monday, May 5, 2014, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W.Va. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home.

Robert Pollack

Robert Joseph Pollack, 89, of Barboursville, W.Va., died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, W.Va. He is survived by his wife, Lorna Sanders Pollack. Theresa Miller

Theresa Ann Miller, 57, of Huntington, W.Va., died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, W.Va. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Virgil Sexton

Virgil Sexton Jr., 88, of South Point, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Madison Park in Huntington, W.Va. He is survived by his wife, Allene Sexton. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Christ Temple Church in Huntington, W. Va. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Proctorville VFW Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Florence Washburn

Florence Katherine Washburn, 64, of Ironton, passed away April 17, 2014, in Columbus. The Ironton native was born March 21, 1949, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lela French Washburn.

Miss Washburn was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and Rio Grande University, where she received her teaching degree. She was a retired school teacher from Rock Hill School District.

She is survived by her uncle, Bill Washburn, of Ironton.

Maynard Totten

Maynard Totten, 74, of Wayne, W.Va., died Tuesday May 6, 2014, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, W.Va.
