Steve Bare

Steve Bare, 74, of Lancaster, fell asleep in death on July 30, 2014. He was born Aug. 27, 1939, in Ironton.

Steve was a family man, a lover of music, a painting contractor for 46 years and a faithful servant of Jehovah God as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 50 years, baptized July 31, 1964.

Steve is survived by his wife of 55 years, Viola Ruth; children, Jeffrey Steve (Julie), and their children, Nicole Stewart (David), Gregory and Lisa Boisclair (Jon), children of Christopher Allen, (Clara and Mike Brown) Zachary, Abby Arrasmith (Alton), Sylvia Pevarski (Bradlee), and Isaac, Vicki Lynn Diven (Nick) and their son, Grant, and Melanie Ruth Hildreth (Todd); two great-grandchildren, Ava and Finn Stewart; and many nephews and nieces.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Luna and Mattie Bare; eight brothers; one sister; and his son, Christopher Allen.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lancaster High School, 1312 Granville Pike in Lancaster with Dan Ebert officiating.

Dignity cremation has taken place by Halteman-Fett and Dyer Funeral Home.

 

 

Marvin Hensley

Marvin C. Hensley, 84 of Argillite, Ky., died on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. He is survived by his wife, Elfreda Short Greene-Hensley. Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Dr. Tommy Melvin officiating. Burial will follow at Whitt Cemetery in Argillite. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 

 

Richard Dailey

Richard Dailey, 57, of Kitts Hill, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at his home. Arrangements are pending at Brown Funeral Chapel.
