Lucille Dingess

Lucille Gollihue Dingess, 90, of Willow Wood, passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at Mayfair Village Nursing Care Center in Columbus. She was born July 26, 1924, in Bellstrace, Ky., daughter of the late William Ellis and Minnie Mae Green Gollihue. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Dingess; her brother, William Ellis Gollihue Jr; and her sister, Helen (Mello) Fortuna.

She attended Old Baptist Church and was an avid gardener and lover of nature.

She is survived by her sister, Phyllis (R.V) Whitt, of Franklin Furnace; two nieces, Janet (Clifford) Spurlock, and Josephine (Rodney) Reed; loving sister-in-law, Molly Mae (Aaron) Browning, of Chapmanville, W.Va.; and one nephew, Tony Fortuna.

Her family would like to recognize and thank Lucille’s steadfast neighbors, Robert and Linda Higgins, who loved and treated her like family these last 29 years, and her many other caring neighbors in Willow Wood. A private graveside funeral service will be conducted at Haverhill Cemetery in Franklin Furnace. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville is in charge of arrangements. Earl McKee

Earl W. McKee, 73, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at Marion General Hospital.

He was born Oct. 2, 1940, in Coal Grove, to the late William Arthur and Betty (Riffe) McKee.

On Oct. 26, 2002, he married Sharel J. (Pheasant).

Earl was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Marion, he was formerly employed at Tecumseh Products, M.C.I., Marion County Auxilliary Sheriff and Honda of America for 16 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sharel McKee, of Marion; children, Susan (Norman) West, of Sturgis, Mich., Melinda (Jack) Johnson, of Big Island, Angie McKee, of Columbus, Christopher McKee, of Marion and Jason (Tami) Bishop, of Tacoma, Wash.; four grandchildren; four brothers, Francis McKee, of Ironton, Jim Waggoner, of Gastonia, N.C., and Ed McKee, of Ironton; three sisters, Harrett Williamson, of Marion, Darline Rapp, of Ironton, and Ester (Bob) Austin, of Lakeland, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Joann Pheasant, of Marion; three sisters-in- law, Barbara (Dave) Boggs, of Marion, Vickie (Tim) McGowen, of Prospect and Tammy Kelly, of Marion; and a brother-in-law, Steven Pheasant, of Marion.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dwight McKee; and a daughter, Terry Lynn McKee.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Grand Prairie Cemetery with pastor William Snyder officiating. No calling hours will be observed. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Arlene Richendollar

Arlene Faye “Nan” Richendollar, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, surrounded by her family at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. The Huntington native was born May 5, 1949, a daughter to the late Maxie Lee and Nellie Jarrell Ferguson. Mrs. Richendollar is survived by her loving husband, Dale Richendollar, whom she married Sept. 15, 1994.

Mrs. Richendollar was a 1967 graduate of Fairland High School. She was a respiratory therapist for Bryant’s Nursing Home and Lawrence County General Hospital. Ms. Richendollar was a past member of Ironton Junior Women’s Club and the United Way. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Gregory Allen Ferguson.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Traci (Greg) Carmon, of Ironton; stepdaughter, Beth (Bill) Henderson, of Proctorville; stepson, Brian Richendollar, of Blackstone, Va; five beloved grandchildren, Taylor Henderson, of Proctorville, Madison Sheppard, of Ironton, Emma Henderson, of Proctorville, Isaiah Turley, of Ironton, and Piper Henderson, of Proctorville; brother, Marshall (Pat) Ferguson, of South Point; niece, Mary Rose Ferguson, of South Point; and nephew, Tim Ferguson, of South Point.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home with the Rev. Leon Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Carroll Joyce Wright, 78, of Scottown, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, W.Va. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville.
