Sue Mollett

Sue Mollett, 64, of Wheelersburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at SOMC Hospice. She was born May 24, 1950, in Flatwoods, Ky., to the late Forrest Blevins and Ruth Williams Blevins.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Mollett, whom she married May 25, 1968, in Franklin Furnace. Also surviving are one daughter, Jessica (Donald) Mollett – Blaylock; four brothers, Walter Blevins, Clifford Blevins, Richard Blevins and Bert Blevins; two sisters, Donna Pickerton and Joyce Koster; and three grandchildren, Zack, Colton and Eli Mollett-Blaylock.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ivan Blevins and Forrest Jr. Blevins; and one sister, Garnet Boyd.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Haverhill Cemetery with pastor Ronnie Blevins officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home.

 

 

Kenneth Baldridge

Kenneth Wayne Baldridge Sr., 49, of South Point, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. The Shreveport, La., native was born July 22, 1965, a son of the late Charles and Betty Perry Baldridge. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jennifer Salyers Baldridge, whom he married Aug. 12, 1983.

Kenneth was a graduate of Russell High School, was a self-employed auto mechanic and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Christina (Billy II) Conn, of Coal Grove; a son, Kenneth W. Baldridge Jr., of South Point; two brothers, Charles Franklin Baldridge Jr., of Ashland, Ky., and William Edward Baldridge, of Lexington, Ky.; a sister, Brenda Sue Baldridge, of South Point; and two grandchildren, Billy Conn III and Hannah Nicole Conn.

Stephen Perry

Stephen Brent Perry, 50, of Columbus, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, in Mount Carmel West Hospital. A memorial service will be noon on Saturday at Deering Grange Hall on State Route 243. Friends and family may call between 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Mary Durkin, 92, of Ironton, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at a local health care center. Arrangements are pending at Phillips Funeral Home.
