PINE GROVE — Who says 13 isn’t a lucky number.

John Gagai won his 13th Ironton Country Club championship over the Labor Day weekend.

Gagai shot a 203 over 54 holes for a 7-under par.

The women’s club champion was Jane Mains who had a 164 over 36 holes.

Mark Anderson was the men’s handicap winner with a 141 net over 36 holes.

Greg Justice captured the senior’s title with a 158 over 36 holes and Burl Bunker was the Super Seniors winner with a 150 in the 36-hole tournament.

Also, the women’s Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association annual end of the year potluck and golf scramble will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
