HANGING ROCK — The annual Kids Fun Day will take place this Saturday at the Main Street field in Hanging Rock.

Hanging Rock Clerk-Treasurer Carole Goldcamp said the event, nearing its 10-year anniverary, continues to be popular.

“We get all kinds of support from the community,” she said. “Everyone seems to have a really good time.”

Kids Fun Day takes place from 12:30-3:30 p.m. with the drawing for a bicycle at 3:25 p.m. Goldcamp said one must be present to win the bicycle.

There will also be a fire department demonstration, a cake walk, hayrides, inflatables, free hot dogs, the Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter and a display by Patriot Ambulance.

Goldcamp also said the event will not interfere with Saturday’s Ohio State football game.
