ASHLAND, Ky. — The South Point Pointers didn’t have time to feel bad after losing their first soccer game of the season.
The Pointers lost 3-2 at Boyd County on Thursday, but bounced back with a 2-1 win at Ashland on Monday.
“We didn’t play well against Boyd County. We played better against Ashland,” said Pointers’ coach Zane Joy.

In the win over Ashland, the Pointers broke a scoreless tie early in the second half on an unassisted goal by Jake Helton.
