ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory has hired former Marshall coach Tom Herrion as an assistant.
Herrion was 67-67 in four seasons at Marshall. He led Marshall to a berth in the 2011 CIT and the 2012 NIT. Previously he compiled an 80-38 record at the College of Charleston.
Gregory on Wednesday also promoted Chad Dollar to associate head coach. Dollar joined Gregory’s staff in 2011 and has been a lead recruiter for many of the current players.
