On Thursday, Sept. 25, the Concerned Citizens of the Burlington Area hosted its Meet the Candidate Night.

Both candidates seeking Lawrence County Commissioner seat, Tim Edwards and Freddie Hayes Jr., spoke to the voters. Also we were privileged to hear from Ryan Smith and Joshua Bailey who are looking to win the office in the Ohio General Assembly 93rd District.

Dennis Lambert of the Green Party who is vying for the seat of the 6th Congressional District was present while Stephen Burcham spoke on behalf of Jennifer Garrison and Ed Moellendick read a letter sent by Bill Johnson.

It was an informative evening, and we hope that it helped those in the audience to select the individuals who will be holding in an elective office.

We, The Concerned Citizens of the Burlington Area, are proud to regularly host our Meet the Candidate Night, and we are always thankful to those candidates who are willing to address the voters.
