Indians blank Dragons

LUCASVILLE — The Lucasville Valley Indians used big plays to remain unbeaten as they downed the Fairland Dragons 42-6 on Friday in a non-league game.
The Indians (5-0) built a 21-0 first quarter lead and extended the margin to 35-0 at the half.
Alex Loop ran 62 and 54 yards in the first quarter while quarterback Bryan Rolfe ran 22 yards.
Blake Howard had 24-yard run and Rolfe went 43 yards in the second quarter.
Howard scored early in the third quarter on a 63-yard run.
Fairland (0-5) avoided the shutout when Dylan Murphy caught a 52-yard halfback pass from Colton Brumfield.
The Dragons open Ohio Valley Conference play next Friday at rival Chesapeake.
