CINCINNATI (AP) — Receiver A.J. Green missed practice on Thursday because of an injured big toe on his right foot, leaving the Bengals to prepare for a game against Carolina without him.

Green hurt the toe during the season opener and missed most of the next game. He played Sunday night during a loss at New England, but aggravated the injury and left practice on Wednesday.

Receiver Marvin Jones also sat out another practice on Thursday with a sprained ankle.
