It was the final regular season game, but it didn’t give a final feeling.
The St. Joseph Flyers ended the regular season with a not-so-satisfying 2-2 tie against the North Adams Green Devils.
“It was a hard-fought battle. It was an aggressively played game,” said Flyers’ coach Mike Balestra.
“We played solid defense and transitioned the ball well in our attack. It was a good team effort against a very good North Adams team.”
After a scoreless first half, Jacob Clark and Cole Willis recorded second half goals with Zach McGraw and Alex Ward handing out assists.
Goalkeeper Joey Bush had 11 saves as each team had 20 shots on goal.
St. Joseph had seven corner kicks to two for North Adams.
Neither team had an offside penalty but the Flyers had 15 fouls to just two for the Green Devils.
