David Burke

Oct. 18, 1951 — Oct. 11, 2014

 

David Burke, 62, of Ironton, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland with his family at his side.

He was born Oct. 18, 1951, a son of the late Paul Burke and the late Minnie Pickett Burke. He was a carpenter and loved his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Waldo Burke; and three sisters, Linda Hale, Marjorie Price and Kathy Burke.

He is survived by his wife at home, Sally Elaine Burke; two sons, Charles and Scotty Burke; three daughters, Alisha Perry, Misty Litteral and Kelly Runyon, all of Ironton; two brothers, Paul Jessie Burke, of Sciotoville, and Tim Burke, of Cummings, Georgia; six grandchildren, Michelle Leffingwell, Jeremiah Burke, Emilee Perry, Alexis Carrico, Kylie Runyon and Emma Runyon; two great-grandchildren, Haley Silcott and Andrea Silcott; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday with pastor Tommy Melvin officiating. Burial will follow in the Etna Church Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at Brown Funeral Chapel.

His family has entrusted his care to the Brown Funeral Chapel of Ironton.

 

 

E. Jane Cook

E. Jane Hudson Cook, 76, of Frederic, Wisconsin, formerly of Ironton, died Sept. 15, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Tom Cook Jr. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Young officiating. Wanda Bradley

Wanda Gail Bradley, 72, of Columbus, formerly of Proctorville, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at the National Church Residencies Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Mary Louise Rudd, 73, of Huntington, formerly of Rush, Kentucky, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Private family services will be held.
