IRONTON — The City of Ironton Fire Department will perform hydrant flushing Nov. 3-13

Flushing will take place from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, during those dates.

There will be no weekend flushing and no flushing on the Veterans Day holiday.

While water clarity is usually only affected in the area of flushing at any given time, surrounding areas may also be affected. Care should be taken to check any water used for drinking, cooking, or laundry during the periods that flushing is taking place, until the water supply returns to normal.
