‘Heroes Unmasked’ theme of fall festival
Central Christian Church in Ironton is hosting a fall festival on Thursday.
“We are having a new and unique kind of fall festival called ‘Heroes Unmasked,’ where each carnival game involves a costumed Bible hero character,” Taylor Parnell, the children’s minister at Central Christian, said. “Not only will kids have fun but they will also learn about heroes from the Bible at the same time.”
More than a dozen carnival games, crafts, inflatables, prizes, candy, hot dogs, popcorn and cotton candy will also be provided.
The festival is 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the Central Christian Church gym at 1541 S. Seventh Street. The event is free and friendly costumes are welcome.
