17 to face charges following grand jury indictments

A Lawrence County grand jury returned 17 indictment this week.
The following is information provided by the office of Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson:
• Richard E. Ellis, 43, of 607 W. 12th St., Huntington, theft from an elderly person;
• Charles C. Riley, 26, of 11287 County Road 1, Chesapeake, possession of drugs and misdemeanor endangering children, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia;
• Melissa Doss, 28, of 11287 County Road 1, Chesapeake, possession of drugs and misdemeanor endangering children, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia;
• Ashley Cremeans, 25, of 6774 Mud River Road, Barboursville, possession of drugs;
• Kristopher Garretson, 24, of 155 Coleman Hill Road, Hamlin, W.Va., illegal conveyance or possession of a deadly weapon or dangerous ordinance or illegal possession of object indistinguishable from a firearm into a school safety zone, possession of drugs;
• Randy G. Vaughn II, 31, of 1157 Bloss Branch Road, Lavalette, West Virginia, breaking and entering;
• Shayla Perkins, 23, of 3341 State Route 243, Ironton, burglary;
• Terry Dolin, 57, of 4561 Blankenship Road, Huntington, theft;
• Michael A. Pennington, 24, of 10908 County Road 4, Pedro, burglary;
• James Robert Bailey, 34, of 704 Lane St., Coal Grove, possession of drugs, and misdemeanor possession of drug abuse instruments, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia;
• Stephanie A. Harrison, 48, of 1452 McCormick Road, Gallipolis, complicity to theft from an elderly person;
• Brody A. Green, 26, of 66 Township Road 1419 Apt. 3, Proctorville, theft from an elderly person;
• Jessica M. Green, 23, of 151 Maple Grove Road, complicity to theft from an elderly person;
• Lori D. Walker, 34, of 209 Wilgus St., Proctorville, receiving stolen property;
• Ryan Detamore, 22, of 105 Township Road 1057 Apt. A, Proctorville, theft of a motor vehicle and theft;
• Jason Hudson, 40, of 1599 Township Road 158, Chesapeake, receiving stolen property.
An indictment is a formal allegation that an individual has committed a crime. The accused are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
