The Ladies Nine-Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club held its annual end of the year Guest Day and Potluck dinner.

Sharon Fox provided breakfast foods while Ralph and Joyce Lewis and Burly and Lynn Bunker decorated for the dinner in Halloween fashion.

Pat Riggs paired the couples for play and awarded the prizes for the even winners.

Also, the club expressed its appreciation to the Bunkers for their work in the clubhouse and the preparations of luncheons each week.

The ladies also thanked those club employees who keep the course and greens in excellent shape.

Members may continue to meet on Tuesday mornings — weather permitting — for golf play.

Here is a list of the End of the Year events’ winners:

Low Score: Carlos and Georgia Willis, Mort Willis and Wanda Spears;

Longest putt on No. 1 hole: Joyce Lewis.

Closest to pin on No. 8 hole: Jim Woods.

Men’s longest drive: Burl Bunker;

Women’s longest drive: Pat Lambert.

Low putts: Rose Auble and Marty Lewis; Lon and Betty Fraley.

NOTE: All women are asked to look for an announcement concerning the annual Christmas party that will be held in December.
