GLOUSTER — It was too much Justice Jenkins and Austin Downs.

Jenkins ran for 196 yards and five touchdowns while Downs caught eight passes for 177 yards and three scores as the unbeaten Trimble Tomcats rolled past the Symmes Valley Vikings 55-8 Saturday in the Division VII Region 25 quarterfinals.

Trimble (11-0) rolled up 433 total yards with 235 coming on the ground as Jenkins carried 16 times for his yardage.

Andrew Losey was 9 of 11 passing for 160yards and two touchdowns. Jenkins had a 38-yard scoring pass.

Symmes Valley (6-5) managed 127 total yards with 86 coming on the ground. Collin Webb ran 12 times for 33 yards and quarterback Derrek Smith hit 6 off 11 passes for 41 yards and a score.

Symmes Valley avoided the shutout when Smith connected with Brandon Craft on an 8-yard touchdown pass with 11:44 to play. The pair also teamed up for the conversion.

The Tomcats led 7-0 at the end of the first quarter on a 7-yard scoring run by Jenkins.

Trimble blew the game open in the second quarter by scoring 35 points. Jenkins ran for two scores and threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Downs.

Losey threw touchdown passes for 13 and 16 yards to Downs and it was 42-0 at the half.

Jenkins had touchdown runs of 25 and 83 yards in the third quarter.
