On behalf of the Lawrence County Young Professionals I would like to thank the businesses who donated items to our Silent Auction, held at the Chamber of Commerce dinner on Nov. 6.

All proceeds from the auction went towards this year’s Secret Santa program, which helps more than 400 Lawrence County children at Christmas. We were able to raise more than $2,000 at the auction, and could not have done so without the generosity of local businesses.

I ask the community to support the following businesses who donated to our auction: Bellefonte Country Club, Big Sandy Superstore Arena, Bob Clyse GMC, Compston Wealth Management, Erica McKenzie at Moxie Massage Boutique, Marathon Petroleum Company – Catlettsburg Refinery, Paramount Arts Center, Pam’s Primitives, Proctorville Animal Clinic, Tri-State Skydivers, and Weber’s Florist. Thank you to our donors. We also appreciate the generosity of the bidders and donors at the dinner.
