Pauline Murdock

Thelma Pauline Locey Murdock, 93, of Ironton, passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014. The Lawrence County native was born Feb. 9, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Gerald A. Locey and the late Minnie Wall Locey. She was the wife of the late Wilford Lowell Murdock for 72 years.

Pauline was a devoted Christian and a member of the First Tabernacle Church of Ironton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vivian Willisone; great-granddaughter, Candy Haugenfive; brothers, Don Locey, Gerald Locey, Virgil Locey, Ferry Locey, and Russell Locey; and two sisters, Audrey Dunfee and Gladys Goodall.

Pauline is survived by a son, Lowell (Donna) Murdock, of Ironton; two daughters, Donna Haugen and Lyndall Eubanks, both of Ironton; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services were 1 p.m. Monday at Woodland Cemetery, Section 12, with pastor Danny Pancake officiating. Visitation was noon-1 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.

 

 

John Allen

John B. (Doc) Allen, 72, of Ironton, died on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was the husband of Rebecca Allen. Arrangements are pending at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home.
