The Ironton Fighting Tigers and St. Joseph Flyers foundation basketball game has been re-scheduled for Wednesday due to the death of an Ironton High School student.

The junior varsity game is at 6 p.m. followed by the varsity at 7:30.

A collection will be made during the game with proceeds going to the family of Allison Eastham, a sophomore at Ironton High School who died Friday.

Cara Eastham, a seventh grade student, is Allison’s sister.

Arrangements are at Phillips’ Funeral Home with the showing from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and funeral services at noon on Wednesday.

The guidance department in both buildings is prepared to handle counseling of students who are in severe grieving situations.

“Allison was a wonderful young lady who was very active in the bard. She will be deeply missed,” said Ironton athletic director and head basketball coach Mark LaFon.
