That’s what you call running into a buzzsaw.

The Columbus Whitehall Rams jumped out to a big lead and never looked back as they beat the South Point Pointers 85-34 on Monday in the annual Ironton Classic.

Whitehall forced 28 turnovers en route to the win and had four players on double figures.

Atoine Blackshear and Antoine Vaughn scored 14 points each, C.J. Prater 13 and Al Harris added 10.

Ryan Gibson led the Pointers with 11 points.

Whitehall raced to a 21-9 first-quarter lead but the Pointers stayed close at the half, 37-22.

The Rams then blitzed the Pointers 28-3 in the third quarter and coasted to the win.
