Female Flyers romp by Tartans

A big start was all the St. Joseph Female Flyers needed.

The Female Flyers built a 40-point halftime lead and coasted to a 64-11 win over the Sciotoville East Lady Tartans on Monday.

Hannah Miller scored 19 points including three trifectas and Amber Neal had 12 points as she hit a pair of triples to lead 10 of the 12 St. Joseph players who scored.

Bri Bridges added 7 points and Lynsey Booker 6 for the balanced offense as St. Joseph improved to 7-0.

The Female Flyers led 24-4 at the end of the first quarter and outscored the Lady Tartans 20-0 in the second quarter to lead 44-4 at the break.

St. Joseph did not play any starters in the second half.

The Female Flyers will now play at tough contest against the Coal Grove Lady Hornets at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the Dr. Paulus Classic as Coal Grove High School.
