Thomas Wileman

June 6, 1935-Jan. 3, 2015

Thomas H. Wileman, 79, of Ironton, died on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. He was born in Ironton on June 6, 1935, the son of the late Frank Garland Wileman and Birtie Marie Thomas Wileman.  He was a veteran and retired from Ashland Oil. Survivors include his wife, Norma Moreland Wileman; sons, Thomas H. Wileman Jr. and Robert Lee (Kim) Wileman, all of Ironton. Grandchildren include Kayla Wileman, Arron Wileman, Ryan Wileman and Bradley Wheeler; and great grandson, Ely Wileman. He was also preceded by one sister, Joann Anderson. Graveside service will be at noon Tuesday in Woodland Cemetery Section 11with Randy Tate officiating. VFW Post 8850 will perform military rites. O’Keefe- Baker Funeral Home is in charge of services. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to Community Hospice 1538 Central Ave Ashland, KY 41101.

 

 

Robert Gibson

Robert Gibson, 79, of Kitts Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2015, at the Huntington VA Medical Center. Arrangements are pending at Brown Funeral Chapel in Ironton.

 

 

Henry Mitchell

Henry Clay Mitchell Jr., 67, of South Point, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Miller Mitchell. Arrangements are pending at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.schneidergriffin.com.

 

 

Jack Bunker

Jack Bunker, 97, of Ironton, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at Jo-Lin Health Center. Arrangements are pending at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home.

 

 

Ernest Rood

Ernest Ralph Rood, 86, of Proctorville, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, by pastor Jeff Black and pastor Mike Smith.  Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller.  Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
