Petty theft — 300 block Township Road 1233, Proctorville, Jan. 5, copper pipes taken from house under remodeling.

Rape — 900 block County Road 74, Crown City, Jan. 5, woman alleged her 10-year-old daughter told her that her three stepbrothers raped her while at her father’s house; girl taken to hospital for exam; according to the sheriff’s report, the doctor didn’t think there had been any penetration; negative contact with girl’s father at the time of the report.

Burglary — 14000 block State Route 243, Chesapeake, Jan. 4, home broken into; items reported stolen include two Blu-ray players, a WiiU and $5,000 worth of jewelry.

Vandalism — 2300 block County Road 182, Kitts Hill, Jan. 5, glass door at Mamre Baptist Church appears to have been shot out with a BB gun.

Theft — 2400 block County Road 411, Proctorville, Jan. 5, vehicle broken into.

Theft — A private drive in Chesapeake, Jan. 5, tools taken from a home under remodeling.

Petty theft — 4300 block County Road 15, South Point, Jan. 4, pygmy goat taken from property.

Petty theft — 7600 block County Road 37, Scottown, Jan. 4, prescription medication missing.

Breaking and entering — 7400 block County Road 14, Chesapeake, Dec. 12, copper pipe and wiring taken from foreclosed home.

Breaking and entering — 300 block County Road 406, South Point, Dec. 14, front doors of Goodwill broken; safe taken from office.

Breaking and entering — 8000 block County Road 107, Proctorville, Dec. 15, Tri-State Sports Wear broken into.

Possession of drug abuse instruments, marijuana — 4400 block State Route 243, Ironton, Jan. 5, deputy dispatched to Judy’s Giovanni’s for a male subject sleeping in a car; Coal Grove police officer already on the scene alleged the suspect agreed to empty his pocket before questioning and removed a bag of marijuana, rubber hose and a glass pipe; Richard Sharp, 51, of 1708 S. Seventh St., Ironton, cited to court.

Petty theft — 1737 County Road 58, South Point, Jan. 4, mitre saw taken from porch; suspect allegedly admitted the stealing the saw; Leighann Adkins, 26, of 1125 County Road 123, Chesapeake, cited to court.

Domestic violence — Country Hearth Inn, South Point, Jan. 4, woman alleged boyfriend head-butted her and threatened to shoot up her mother’s home; Ronnie Murdock Jr., 26, of 5544 Millersfield Drive, Columbus, arrested.

Harassment by inmate, aggravated menacing — Lawrence County Jail, Jan. 5, unruly inmate threatened to shoot deputy.

Petty theft, possession of drugs — Walmart, South Point, Jan. 5, woman allegedly tried to leave store without paying for items; allegedly had Suboxone but no prescription; Lauren Luther, 22, of 1677 Buffalo Creek Road, Huntington.

Breaking and entering, petty theft, criminal trespass — 1400 block Township Road 158, Chesapeake, Jan. 2, door of outbuilding pried off; drill, chain saw taken.

Petty theft, criminal damaging — 3700 block State Route 7, Chesapeake, Dec. 15, copper pipes cut at Chesapeake Community Center.

Criminal damaging, aggravated burglary, vandalism — 8700 block County Road 107, Proctorville, Dec. 25, house broken into; items taken include safe, $2,500 in coins, knives, jewelry, clock.

Burglary — 400 block Township Road 299, Chesapeake, Jan. 2, house broken into; items taken include Wii, $1,000 in change, four handguns, prescription medication.

Petty theft — 300 block Township Road 302, Chesapeake, Jan. 1, tool box taken from bed of truck.

Domestic violence — 4500 block County Road 29, Pedro, Jan. 1, woman alleged husband became violent with her and grabbed her face, threw her into the washer and threw a hanger at her; Joshua Malone, 22, of the same address, arrested.

Resisting arrest, domestic violence — 50 block Township Road 1006, Chesapeake, Jan. 2, woman alleged son intoxicated and trying to start fights and threatened to hit her; subject allegedly resisted arrest; William Bowling, 34, of 55 Township Road 1006, Chesapeake, arrested.

Petty theft — A private drive in Chesapeake, Dec. 31, copper wire and plumping taken from vacant house.

Aggravated burglary, complicity — 18000 block State route 775, Willow Wood, Dec. 30, woman reported coming home to a burglary in progress; three suspects seen running from residence.
