Sarah Bowling, 92, of South Point, died on Friday Jan. 16, 2015, at Sanctuary of Ohio. She was born Nov. 11, 1922, in Elliott County, Kentucky, to the late Watt and Nancy Belle Marshall Ison. She was the wife of the late Jeddie Bowling. She was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Ison, Leonard Ison and Raymond Ison; and, a sister, Clara Stewart. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia C. Bowling Jordan, of South Point; one grandson, Timothy R. Jordan, of South Point; two granddaughters, Teresa Hamrick, of Sebastian, Florida, and Lisa D. Wiley, of South Point; great grandchildren, Zachary Isaac Hamrick, Joseph Benjamin Hamrick, Sarah Katherine Jordan and Danielle Wiley; great great grandchildren, Savannah Lynn Hamrick and Ayrn Hailey Hamrick; and one sister Mary Lou Hultz, of Cincinnati. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home. Funeral will be at noon Wednesday at the funeral home with Mike Huff and Danny Ray Clarkston officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens Masonic Garden section.

Catherine Nance, 85, of Coal Grove, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. Arrangements are pending at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton.
