SOUTH POINT — At least one person is dead following a fire at a mobile home off Little Solida Road, according to Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless.

“They have found one body and there were four living in the home that we have been made aware of,” Lawless said. “The other three are unaccounted for.

Authorities are in the process of confirming if all four living in the house perished in the fire.

The fire broke out before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. The state fire marshal is on the scene.
