Dear fellow lifelong Irontonians,

It is with deep regret and personal reluctance that I announce my departure from the upcoming Ironton mayoral election.

Without a long dissertation, several health issues instigated my thoughtful decision. Age and health issues are paramount.

One must take care of oneself in order to benefit others. For Ironton’s best interests, I depart.

Yet, I will support the individual candidate for the total overall well being of Ironton.

I pray Jesus Christ steers that man or woman.
