The Ohio Department of Transportation has reopened State Route 650 at Hanging Rock and at the 9-mile marker between County Road 27 and State Route 522.

Ironton Mayor Rich Blankenship said the McPherson Street crossing will be closed tonight beginning at 6 p.m.

“An officer will be on patrol in north Ironton all night long,” Blankenship said. “The fire department will continue to make interval trips down there.”

Blankenship said Lawrence Street is also now open to traffic.

“More than likely we will take the floodgate down starting in the morning,” he said.

Also, according to ODOT, restrictions have been lifted at State Route 141 in the County Road 62 area near Arabia; State Route 141 at the Lawrence-Gallia County line; State Route 217 between the intersecting points of State Route 378; State Route 243 between County Road 46 and Township Road 85 and between County Road 32 and County Road 2.

State Route 218 at the Lawrence-Gallia county line is still closed.
