Residents are asked to vigorously boil drinking water for at least one minute. This applies to any water that would be used for cooking or oral hygiene.

According to a release from the water treatment plant, “There is no evidence at this time that the water system is contaminated. The possibility does exist, however, that the water system is contaminated.”

The water department is conducting an investigation and collecting additional samples and a notice will be given once the boil water advisory had been lifted.
