James Bruce

James M. Bruce, Jr. died Tuesday, March 12, 2015 at his home in Fairlawn.

He is survived by two sisters; four children; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held from 4-6p.m. Friday at Crossroads Alliance Church in Copley.

 

 

Chester Eastham

Sept. 7, 1950 — March 17, 2015

Chester Raymond Eastham, 64, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at his residence. The Ironton native was born Sept. 7, 1950, a son of the late Joseph and Ollie Mae Brumfield Eastham.

Mr. Eastham was a graduate of Ironton High School and was a self-employed roofer. He was also a small engine mechanic, a member of the Moose, Eagles, the VFW and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joey Eastham; three brothers, Alfred Cleveland Eastham, Clyde Woodrow Eastham and Joseph Clifford Eastham; a sister, Joanne Shank; and a granddaughter, Allison Nicole Eastham.

He is survived by his life partner, Freda Delawder, of Ironton; four sons, Chester Eastham, Bill Eastham, John Burns, and Kenny Delawder all of Ironton; three daughters, Shannon Neal of Columbus, Cheri Delawder and Kim Delawder, both of Ironton; two sisters, Freda Pennington and Jeanie Aldridge both of Marion; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. James Cremeans officiating. Lana Kuhn

Lana D. Fayne Kuhn, 64, of Franklin Furnace, died Monday, March 16, 2015, at her residence after a nine year battle with cancer. Lana is survived by her husband, Tim Kuhn. A celebration of Lana’s life will be held at the Kuhn family home on Saturday beginning at 2 p.m.

 

 

Tim Workman

Tim L. Workman, 41, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memorial Gardens, Huntington, West Virginia.  Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Saturday. Neva McCarty-Yonts

Neva Adeline McCarty-Yonts, 73, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, died at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. Funeral services will be held at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods on Friday at 11 a.m. with Scott Hill and Dewey McCarty officiating. Burial will follow at the Bowling Cemetery in Cannonsburg, Kentucky. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
