Deadline for emergency food funds is March 30

The Emergency Food and Shelter National Board has informed the local EFSP board that Lawrence County’s share of Phase 32 funds is $11,532.

Any nonprofit organization or local government agency that provides or is capable of providing food or shelter may apply for these funds but must be capable of fulfilling regulations and requirements set forth by the national EFSP board.

Each applicant must have a single agency audit done annually and must maintain proper documentation on all program expenditures.
