Nellie Preston

Nellie Margaret Preston, 77, of Milton, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with pastor Chuck Elkins and pastor Jeremy Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow in Preston and Ball Cemetery, Milton.

She was born Sept. 5, 1937, in Mason County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Hugh J. and Mary Lillian Forth. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray B. “Caledonia” Preston; two children; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law. Nellie was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Milton. She is survived by two daughters, Terri Preston and Becky Little; three sons and daughters-in-law, Johney and Sybil Preston, Bernard and Kim Preston and Jeffrey and Pam Preston; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene (Jane) Forth and Charles Forth; two sisters, Margaret Forth and Billey Forth; and one “special sister,” Bonnie Burke.

Billie Rice

Billie Lee Rice, 64, of South Point, died Sunday, March 29, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Chesapeake Christian Church, Chesapeake.

 

Donald Willis

Donald “Bub” Willis, 68, of Fort Walton Beach Florida,, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015. Donald was born in Ironton. He was predeceased by his parents, Leona Mae and Donald F. Willis.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his dearest and most loved friend, Geneva Campbell. Donald is survived by his daughter, Pamela Kay Willis; and sisters, Annie Sutter and Bonnie Lyttle.

A special thank you to the staff at Fort Walton Beach Rehabilitation Center, Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and Family-Funeral and Cremation for their exceptional care, compassion and support during the past few weeks. A memorial service will be held in Virginia Beach, Virginia at a later date.

Kristie Dale Belville Warner, 45, of Proctorville, died on Monday, March 30, 2015, at home. She is survived by her husband, Michael Warner. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.
