Edna Dodrill

Edna Faye Dodrill, 74, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Lawrence County native was born May 3, 1940, a daughter of the late Leonard and Myrtle Stapleton Delawder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thamer H. Dodrill, who passed away Nov. 27, 2006.

Mrs. Dodrill attended Dawson-Bryant High School and was a former seamstress for the Cinderella Dress Factory in Ashland, retiring after 23 years of service with them. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gene Delawder, Frank Delawder and John Delawder; five sisters, Ida Mae Langley, Avenell Pemberton, Betty Lou Delawder, Virginia Mae Delawder and Addie Qualls

She is survived by four sisters, Udel Salyers, Elizabeth Ann Russell, Stella Rose Young, and Mary Jane Collins; three brothers-in-law; and a lot of nieces and nephews, with two very special nephews, Wes Collins Jr. and Steve Collins.

Kenneth Stephens

Kenneth David Stephens, 62, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia. Funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today at Apostolic Life Cathedral Church, 350 Staunton St., Huntington, West Virginia, with pastor E.S. Harper officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the church. Private internment will be on Wednesday at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, West Virginia. Judith Gibson

Judith B. Gibson, 76, of Chesapeake, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Robert Gibson. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville.
