The Ironton Farmers Market will relocate this weekend due to the Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament.

For Friday and Saturday the market will move to the corner of North Fourth and Railroad streets near Memorial Hall. The market will return to its regular location on South Second Street the following week.

“Again this year the regular vendors are back with us and we had a full venue the first two weekends both Friday and Saturday,” said Sam Heighton, market manager. “Starter plants are still available plus hanging baskets, produce and honey. We have our regular bakers and some new vendors this year selling baked goods and home made items.”

Beginning in June, on the second Saturday of each month, Ironton In Bloom will serve free food to all market shoppers.

The Ironton Farmers Market is a project of Ironton aLive and sponsored by Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
