Girl Scout Troop 700 from Central Christian Church in Ironton recently participated in a shoe drive service project where gently worn, used shoes were collected. The drive helped those living in countries like Haiti, Uganda, Bolivia and counties.

The troop collected 88 pairs of shoes. Participating in the drive were Alexis Carrico, Kaylie Johnson, Annabelle Darby, AnnaMae Miller, Aslynn Miller, Kylie Runyon, Emma Runyon, Kadence Winters, Riley Winters, Jazmyn Hicks, Amillionna Gohlson and Tiyeh Brown.
