Cheryl Herdman

Cheryl Renee Fitzpatrick Herdman, 50, of South Point, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015. She was born Nov. 30, 1964, in Ironton, a daughter of Donald Fitzpatrick, Sr. of South Point and Sharon Bunting Fitzpatrick of South Point.

She was a former registered nurse. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two children, Joshua Fitzpatrick and Delila Crum; four sisters, Mary Goodall, Debra Fitzpatrick, Rebecca Fitzpatrick and Jessica Fitzpatrick; and two brothers, Donald Fitzpatrick, Jr. and Chad Fitzpatrick.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cheryl Fitzpatrick Herdman Fund at WesBanco Bank. Paul Chinn

Paul Eugene Chinn, 67, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Friday, July 3, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.

 

 

Ellen Stevens

Ellen May Stevens, 93, of South Point, died Friday, July 3, 2015, in Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton. At her request, there will be no visitation or service. Nancy White

Nancy Ann White, 62, of Chesapeake, died on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, by pastor Charles Case. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. Jon D. Light, 76, of South Point, husband of Sandy Butcher Light, died Sunday, July 5, 2015. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
