Linda Leonard

Linda Lou (Alger) Leonard, 68, of South Point, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington. Linda was born May 12, 1947, in Binghamton, New York, a daughter to the late Edward and Thelma (Edea) Alger. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Leonard, who passed away Jan. 15, 2009.

Mrs. Leonard was a 1965 graduate of Binghamton High School. She was employed with Aflac as an Insurance Sales Agent. She was of the Christian faith and attended Rock of Grace Church.

She is survived by a fiancé, Jim Jackson of South Point; a daughter, Christy (Marvin McCallister) Ward of South Point; three sons, Ron (Missy) Leonard of Ironton, Anthony (Stephanie) Leonard of Travelers Rest, South Carolina and Sean Leonard of Binghamton, New York; six siblings, Ken Alger of Binghamton, New York, Bonnie Alger of Binghamton, New York, Keith Alger of Salem, South Carolina, Cindy Alger of Zebulon, North Carolina and Kevin (Jan) Alger of Binghamton, New York and Kelly Alger of Binghamton, New York; six grandchildren, Tiffany (Danny) Jones of Greenville, South Carolina, Destiny (Jon) Bowen of South Point, Evan McCallister of South Point, Brendan Leonard of Travelers Rest, South Carolina and Brett Leonard and Danielle Leonard, both of Ironton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home with Brother Don Hussell officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. David Kisor

David H. Kisor, 78, of South Point, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. David is survived by his wife, Tamara Hunt Kisor. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

 

 

Geraldine Holsinger

Geraldine “Gerri” Holsinger, 77, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Russell with pastor Ken Gowin officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be after 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Kentucky.
