AT&T customers without service

Due to a damaged cable caused by recent floods, some customers in the Ironton area may have experienced issues with their AT&T wireless, wireline and U-verse services.

Holly Hollingsworth, senior public relations manager for AT&T Ohio, said in an email, “The Cell On Light Truck (COLT) we’ve deployed to the University of Rio Grande is online and providing coverage to the area. We also are in the process of deploying a second COLT at another location to further enhance coverage.

“Technicians are working to repair the damaged cable in order to permanently restore service as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
