Thomas Kingrey

March 18, 1950—July 31, 2015

 

Thomas E. Kingrey Jr., 65, of Ironton, died Friday, July 31, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point. William Malone

Nov. 25, 1950— Aug. 3, 2015

 

William J. (Red Dog) Malone, 64, of Ironton, died at SOMC in Portsmouth, surrounded by his family on Monday, Aug. 3, 2015. Born the son of the late Harry and Dorothy E. (Lawless) Malone Jr. on Nov. 25, 1950, he was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, served as custodian at South Point Briggs Library, a member of Knights of Columbus Ironton council#1405, and the Ironton Moose. Survivors include Janette Malone, Amber Malone, Patrick Malone, Sherrie Malone, and Lu Buchanan. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St Joseph Catholic Church with Father David Huffman officiating. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

 

 

Lukas Patrick

Lukas Christopher Allen Patrick, infant son of Katrina Chandler and Christopher Patrick, passed away July 30, 2015, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

While here on earth just a few minutes, he was a joy to his mom and dad.

He is survived by his parents, Katrina Chandler of South Point and Christopher Patrick of Ironton; a brother, Liam Blevins; his paternal grandparents, Twyla and Mark Patrick; paternal great grandparents, Gloria and Wilburn Cochran; three uncles, Cody Patrick, Skylar Erwin and Steven Chandler Jr.; a great uncle, Gary Cochran; numerous other aunts and uncles; and a host of family and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the Sugar Creek Church Cemetery and will be officiated by pastor Jeff Cremeans. Donations to help the family with funeral expenses should be directed toward the funeral chapel.

His parents have entrusted their son’s care to Brown Funeral Chapel.

 

 

Evelyn Legg

Evelyn Naomi Hilgenburg Legg, 90, of Proctorville, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015, at River’s Bend Health Care Center, South Point.

Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.  Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
