On Friday, July 31, my granddaughter, Chelsea Perry, had to begin hemodialysis after the peritoneal dialysis failed after eight years.

We are truly blessed here in Ironton to have the Fresenius Clinic on North Second Street. The entire staff, Dr. Kasey and even the other patients have been so nice to us.

The care, kindness and concern could not have been better anywhere.

I’m sure there are times Chelsea is not the easiest person to care for, but the patience and understanding from this entire staff is remarkable.

They have made a hard situation so much easier.
