SP girls knock off Greenup

LLOYD, Ky. — The South Point Lady Pointers picked up a big non-league road win as they beat the Greenup County Lady Musketeers in four sets on Monday.
South Point got the volleyball win after dropping the first set, then winning three straight. The Lady Pointers won 17-25, 25-19, 25-16 and 25-14.
Mackenzie Fugitt had 11 kills and Olivia Abner had 10 kills and 5 blocks to lead the offense.
Madison Epperly turned in a solid effort with 6 kills, libero Hope Aylsworth came up with 9 digs to pace the defense while Leah Lawson and Brooklyn Badgett had 5 aces each in a strong serving performance.
In the reserve match, the Lady Pointers fell 18-21, 20-22.
