BELLEFONTAINE (AP) — An Ohio woman accused of suffocating her three sons over a 13-month period is set for trial next year.

A judge has set a March 7 trial date for 23-year-old Brittany Pilkington, who has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder charges.

Authorities say Pilkington confessed to killing her 3-month-old son last month, a 4-year-old son in April and a baby son last July. She is jailed in Bellefontaine on $1 million bond.

Authorities say Pilkington was jealous of the attention her husband paid the boys. Her husband has pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexually assaulting her when she was a teenager.

The Associated Press generally doesn’t identify people who might be victims of sexual assault, but Pilkington’s name and image have been widely published.
