Tony Childers

Sept. 1, 1960—Sept. 19, 2015

Tony Lee Childers of Lebanon, Tennessee, formerly of Barboursville, West Virginia, passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 19, 2015.  He was born Sept. 1, 1960.  He was the son of the late Lester (Gene) and Joann Church Childers.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Steven Dale Childers.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia (Cindy) Dickess Childers; son, Michael Travis (Kayley) and grand daughter Regan Lillian; his daughter, Melanie (Sudheer) Kartan; his brothers, Robert and wife Kathy Childers and James and wife Dee Childers; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He was the co-owner of Process Welding Systems, Inc of LaVergne, Tennessee and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Cross Plains, Tennessee.

Visitation will be at Phillips Funeral Home where family and friends can call from 3-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-12 Saturday with the funeral service beginning at 12 noon with the Rev. Mark Fields officiating. Immediately following the service, burial will be at Woodland Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to the home of Susan Price at 2114 N. Donald Mullins

Dec. 31, 1959—Sept. 21, 2015

Donald Mullins, 55, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at the Sunset Nursing Home of Coal Grove.

He was born Dec. 31, 1959, a son of the late Forest Mullins and the late Jane Stapleton Mullins. Once employed by Green Township, he was a 1980 graduate of Green High School and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by three brothers, Charles (Carrie), John (Kim) and Mark Mullins; four sisters, Gracie (Lexius) and Brenda (Tim) Mullins Norma (John) Horn, Mary Ruggles and her fiance Shawn Stith; 12 nieces and nephews; one great-niece; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Brown Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jeremy Klaiber officiating. Burial will follow in the Haverhill Cemetery. Friends and family may share memories and condolences on the Facebook page for Brown Funeral Chapel.

Friends may call from noon until time of services at the Funeral Chapel. Donald and his siblings has entrusted his care to Brown Funeral Chapel.

 

 

Sharon Kerns

Sharon Elizabeth Kerns, 65, of Pedro, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at home.  Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.

 

 

Johnny Fugett

Johnny R. Fugett, 60, of Coal Grove, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at his residence. Arrangements are pending at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point.

 

 

Coretta Anderson

Coretta “Snookie” Anderson, 83, of South Point, formerly of Charleston, West Virginia, died on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015. Funeral service will be at noon Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with pastor Ronnie Tyree officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point .
