Gladys Wolfe

Aug. 24, 1933—Sept. 27, 2015

Gladys Delores Wolfe, 82, of Ironton, died on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at Jo-Lin Health Center. She was born in Boyd County on Aug. 24, 1933, the daughter of the late Ernest and Gladys Back. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Wolfe, and one grandson, Daniel Wolfe. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Mike Wolfe, of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Stewart Wolfe, of Ironton. Grandchildren include Angel Elisha Wolfe, Jeffery Wolfe, Tim Wolfe and Aaron Wolfe; and eight great-grand children. No services are to be held. O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

 

 

Lucian Smith

Lucian Smith, 87, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, at the Jo-Lin Health Center in Ironton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with pastor Danny Pancake officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Greenup County.
