Bethany Bibb

May 9, 1994 –– Sept. 23, 2015

Bethany Catherine Bibb, 21, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus. Bethany was born May 9, 1994, in Huntington, West Virginia, a daughter of Jerry Anthony and Elizabeth Taylor Bibb. She was a graduate of Ironton High School. She is also survived by a sister, Lashara Church, of Memphis, Tennessee; seven brothers, Taylor Clemons, of Ironton, Darrien Gantt, of Huntington, West Virginia, Jerry Bibb, Jr. and Jerrold Bibb, Sr., both of Atlanta, Georgia, Jermaine Bibb, Sr., Jermill Bibb and Demetrius Ralston, all of Louisville, Kentucky; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a nephew on the way. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Jerusalem Christian Center, Ironton with Bishop Kenneth Lisath officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church. Following the service, Bethany’s request was to have her body donated to medical science. Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, is assisting the family with arrangements.  James Imes

Nov. 13, 1987—Sept. 27, 2015

James Millard Daniel Issac Imes, 27, of South Point, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. The Yakima, Washington, native was born Nov. 13, 1987, a son of Jerry Lee Imes Jr and Tena Marie Nauert Imes of Chesapeake.

James was a 2006 graduate of South Point High School and attended Collins Career Center. James was an electrician for the Mueller Electric Company in Ashland, Kentucky. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, four wheelers, camping, fishing, hunting, and helping his son in coaching youth soccer and basketball.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Savannah Christine Davis, of South Point; a son, Issac Lee Imes, of South Point; a daughter, Jayme Dawn Imes, of South Point; three brothers, Michael Gene (Cassie) Imes, of Missouri, Jeremiah “Bo” (Trina) Imes, of South Point, and Paul Imes, of Chesapeake; and a sister: Melinda (Donald) Imes Tussey, of Chesapeake. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers

 Joseph Hager

Joseph Hager, 66, died Sept. 23, 2015, in Plano, Texas. Joe is survived by his wife, Tracey Hager. A service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Jerome Antwaine Yancey, 34, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the 16th Street Baptist Church, Huntington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
